I have my first quiz in Oceanography tomorrow and I’m surprisingly excited. The quiz only covers the first chapter in the book and will be on the chapter and lecture notes but the reason I am excited is not because I have the information down. I am excited because it will be my first quiz in almost 5 years that wont be open notes, or online. It is a sign that I am back in school and this makes it more real than physically being there somehow. Wish me luck on this and all my other quizzes, exams, and Finals I will have this semester.

Starting August 24th I will be going back to school to pursue a Bachelors in education with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I have taught preschool for nearly 10 years and it’s time I went back to school and finish what I started. After aquiring that job I became content, don’t miss understand me, it was a great job and I loved working with those children. Being a preschool teacher with not even an AA under his belt was not something I should settle for. I desided to go back to school to get my AA and transfer to a university. I hope I can achieve my goals and with the help from my family and encouragement from my friends I am going to do just that. Wish me luck on this first semester back with 2 child development classes, one oceanography, and one Nutrition class which will all allow me my AA. Thank you.
